Manningtree Mermaids Mural 2023

Art Eat was invited to design a mural on a private garage door in Manningtree in Essex which is located in front of the small estuarine beach in the town. An obvious point of inspiration was the local group of wild swimmers and clean water campaigners known as the Manningtree Mermaids. We commissioned a long-time collaborator and friend Catalina Carvajal to design and paint this mural and it is a delightful addition to Britain's Smallest Town.
