Lion Walk Mural 2022

Art Eat was commissioned to develop a Colchester-themed mural on the ceiling and walls of Lion Walk. For this project, we selected a local children's book illustrator Tom Knight who worked with the client to research the people and places significant to Colchester to develop a huge 100 square meter ceiling mural panel. We then went on to develop the second phase of the project by extending the mural characters onto the walls, including setting up an 'Instagram moment' and designing an information panel which explains the stories behind all the characters and places in the mural. Thanks to mural painters Adrian Leroy and Dan Budd helped us to paint.
